ther's being an illusion to the Grimm brother's, but after a while I was able to separate the characters she created from the notorious fable masters. Knoebel's introduction of the Gramm cures alongside their bad ass fighting technique thoroughly humanize the characters for me. Once all the characters were humanized, I was hooked. I rate this novel a 4.5 due to the need for grammar editing (a few sentences were missing punctuation), but over all this book is a must read.
